To be and to make disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Vision of Swallowfield Chapel:
To be a community of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ growing in loving relationship with God and each other, and in loving service making disciples of the nations.
Our Mission and Vision are based on two crucial sets of instructions that Jesus left us:
- The Great Commandment
Jesus said,"Love the Lord your God with all your heart...soul...and... mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: love your neighbour as yourself. All the law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments." (Matt 22: 37-40) NIV
- The Great Commission
Jesus said,"...go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Fatherand of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything Ihave commanded you..." (Matt.28:19-20) NIV
